Aschwin De Wolf/Suspended Animation Emergency Services Consultantr
Aschwin holds a Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam. He moved from the Netherlands to the United States in 2000 and joined the Alcor Life Extension Foundation in January 2003. He worked as Chief Financial Officer and Cryopreservation Technologies Manager for Suspended Animation, Inc. from 2004 until 2007 where he played an important role in numerous aspects of the company, ranging from the study and development of stabilization technologies to financial and administrative matters.

Aschwin serves as a consultant for a number of cryonics organizations, has published technical articles on various cryonics topics, and writes for the technical cryonics blog Depressed Metabolism. His interests include cerebral ischemia, pharmacological modulation of metabolism, and rejuvenation of the brain. He currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
Charles Platt/Suspended Animation Consultant
Charles became active in cryonics in 1991, was a cofounder of CryoCare Foundation, and later became its president. He rebuilt field capability at Alcor Life Extension Foundation in 2002-2003 and has participated in a dozen cryonics cases, taking a leadership role in five of them. In 2004 he became general manager and a director of Suspended Animation, reached a contractual agreement to provide procedures to the Cryonics Institute, negotiated with the town of Boynton Beach, supervised buildout at the new facility, and designed much of the standby equipment. Although he ceased fulltime employment at Suspended Animation in 2006, he continues to assist the company as a consultant, and remains available for case work.
